FW: Suggestions: Anti foul protection for prop and shaft
Here is a recommendation from a friend in the "Biz". They run yard services for Kentmorr Marina on the Chesapeake side of Kent Island. They now have two CAL 25 racing skippers on staff.
Cheers

We are a big fan of Prop Speed - for both our powerboats and sailboats...
Once you use you, you love it and it works great. We apply it - takes multiple steps to apply. It is a little pricey but in the long run well worth it.
Here is more info on it - http://www.propspeedusa.com/
Thanks,
Marty

Last year we had a bumper crop of barnacles in North Cove, Old Saybrook. Before launch, I sprayed zinc onto the prop, 3 coats, and left the shaft uncoated as a control.
When hauled in the fall, the shaft was completely barnacle covered, the prop was clean.
I was convinced !
