The name is Zinc Coat Barnacle Barrier (but head the warnings voiced earlier)
Go here: http://www.pettitpaint.com/catalog_browse.asp?ictNbr=167
I got it at West Marine
I have a 3 blade Max Prop and put on 3 coats. It takes less than 15 min since it
dries nearly instantly and you can not wait more than 5 min for the next coat.
If you go over the 5 min you have to wait an hour. # coats took about half a
can by my guesstimation. The boat-heads at the YC give it good marks.

I was at my air conditioning equipment supplier in L.A. and they had some spray zinc for galvanizing, it was $15 a can, so I deferred buying. My crew Eric showed up yesterday with a can of spray Zinc Chromate (Industrial use only, carcinogen) he found by his slip trash, looks nasty enough to work, the cap shows an olive green color. Is that where olive green pigment comes from, and if so, are all we ex-GIs doomed to die of cancer? I know the idea was for us to die in combat and avoid the issue altogether, so, just our bad luck, I guess.
Jerry
PS, on the can it says, 'for outboards and stern drives' by Moeller Marine Products. I bet it kills marine growth, and maybe even toe nail fungus.

And the best thing about it, is, you can spray it on while the prop and shaft are '...STILL SUBMERGED...'!!
. yeah, imagine that! Jerry
