I have heard that you should replace the mounts every 5 years but Joe is the expert if he has time to chime in. On my old boat I had one of them break and you couldn't tell when it wasn't running as the other 3 kept it in place. It wasn't long before 2 of them went and it became very obvious. I had a Volvo 2002 and the mounts were $700 which is why I am guessing I was the first one to replace them after 20 years. Its a pain in the arse to do but something you shouldn't put off.
