We put in a Ronco tank. Yes, ask for discount upon ordering. We have an access port on top, not recommended by everyone. The overboard system has a shutoff valve before the macerator and a valve at the thruhull. This would work great if officials checked for leaks using dye in the tank. There is also a hose attached, with its own shutoff, after the main shutoff and before the macerator, for rinsing the macerator so solids do not harden in the blades. The deck pumpout has its own exit from the tank. So:waste in (1); waste out(2); vent(1). Even with new tank and hoses, odours accumulate quickly. Where we are in Puerto Rico many people just pump overboard. Pumpout facilities seem to be rare. The marina nearby has a pumpout which has not worked in 7 years. Our installed system works well.
