Ok, theres this BIG metal piece behind the v birth, Bolted to the bulkhead ,that goes from one side of the hull to the other. Its galvanized but after 40+ years it can get rusty. Not sure how to go about inspecting and if need be replaceing. JR Cal 2-30 #80 1968 Ventura Ca.
