The fatigue issue had several layers on our part - 1) I didn't have lee cloths set up because I had removed my interior handrails while doing repairs on the deck so we didn't have a good place to rest for more than one person at a time. 2) That said, most people started getting green very soon after going below and couldn't stay down anyway. 3) We were over powered due to believing the forecast and leaving the #2 & 3 at home (long story) but that required much more effort when tacking. 4) half of my 6 person crew were women At 19,000 lbs she was still being bounced around a lot.
