I purchased her 7 years ago for $7k from a boat building apprentice shop, where she Had been donated from the family that had owned her since manufacturing. We rebuilt her from the keel up starting with 4 coats of barrier paint and new bronze thru hulls mounted on plates, new standing rigging, new heavier chain plates, steel backing plates, new electrical panel and wiring (including bonding), etc. The material alone cost me over $7k. Work Completed on the boat in last 7 years: 1. Barrier Paint (4 coats) 2. New Bronze Thru-Hulls with epoxied mountings 3. New Hoses (intake and exhaust) 4. New Wiring (all marine grade_ 5. New Ground Wires (from all standing rigging to keel) and new grounding plate 6. New Engine switch 7. New Circuit panel 8. New Engine Panel and gauges 9. New Muffler 10. New Water Strainer 11. Life Jackets and throwable Horse collar 8. Two Stoves 9. Copies of the original plans for the Cal 2-30 signed by Mr. William Lapworth 10. Charts and chart book for New England You can see more information at the following links: http://sailingtexas.com/201101/scal230100.html http://www.sailboatlistings.com/view/24497 http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/boa/2523621810.html Accommodates 6 with a v-berth w/door, settee and 2 quarter berths. Has a stove, head, ice box, wet locker, safety equipment, inflatable w/5hp, USCG Documented, spare parts, most of the receipt and work orders (prev. owner) for the last 27 years, and more. We would recommend she eventually have her topside painted but her deck has already been refurbished. The refurbishment costs are more than what we are selling her for. If you know anyone interested, we priced her to sell quickly, the boat is at the house in Danville, NH (near the boarder of Maine and Massachusetts) and we close to closing on the house (aka we have three weeks to sell or move her). $6,500/BO Julia Ashmun Call 603-382-1537 or ja… [at] gmail.com for more information.

Hi Barrie, Sorry for the delay in responding, I just had shoulder surgery and more work was done then expected. She's not sold yet and I had a hauler (semi with hydraulic lifts) deliver the boat to my house in NH from Spruce Head, ME.
