Subject: St Michaels Yesterday morning found us motoring across one of the busiest shipping lanes in substantial rain with limited visibility. I did not doze. By mid day, the rain stopped and by early afternoon, the clouds disappeared and we have had clear skies and sunshine or moonshine since. We dinghyed into town late afternoon for a preliminary perusal. Cute town. Shows its early heritage. Homes and other buildings are well maintained and their character has been maintained. The waters of the bay have been its life blood. We elected to have dinner at the famous Crab Claw. I cannot recommend it. We breakfasted this morning in our floating home. No, we did not have sour dough. After breakfast, Barbara pulled the Johnson 3 times and it fired. Then we went to town! Most of our day was spent in the Chesapeake Maritime Museum. Well worth the trip. A boat building shop where, if you wish, you may be an apprentice for a day or a week or longer. Old boats under restoration. A light house. Hands on displays. Local and bay history, Too much stuff to recount. A little provisioning and then back home. One method of organizing tasks on a boat is to have colored jobs. Blue, his. Pink, hers. Purple, could be joint? Black, hire someone else! It is important that each person know almost all the jobs. Therefore, Barbara suggested that on each date divisible by 5, we swap jobs. she doing blue and I doing pink (somehow, making coffee and delivering it to the person in bed did not change. I don't get it. Literally!) So, today, she was in charge of pulling the Johnson and I was in charge of breakfast (wait! I'm always in charge of breakfast!) and lunch (tasty at a local saloon) and dinner and dishes. No, I did not make crabcakes. A choice of ice cold beer or red wine, spagetti with fresh onion, gourmet burger and whole grain pasta. Dishes are done. moon is high, and the lightning in the thunderstorms can be seen far, far away, Reggie Good CLU, LUTCF, ChFC Reginald J Good Agency 135 Clothier Lane PO Box 654 Lakeside, MT 59922-0654 406-844-3143 1-800-823 LIFE(5433) fax: 406-844-3191 website www.Insurance-Solutions.biz email: Re… [at] Insurance-Solutions.biz
