Na you dont want a PC based tablet. Grab a simple android tablet, then head over to the android shop on line and get a copy of MxMariner for 6 bucks (vector chart support coming soon) and Bluetooth GPS app. Then head over to amazon and grab a Buetooth GPS unit and you have all you need. You can run it all on a 150 dollar Samsung Geo mobile smart phone as well.
