steering pedestal

All this time I thought I had an Edson steering pedestal and am now told it is a Yacht Specialties pedestal. Reggie

Ooops. Hope you don't need any parts for it. Wanted a brake mechanism for years…. never found more than the last available knob in America -- at Doc Freeman's in Seattle. I've seen replacement pedestals at Minney's in Newport Beach, but they want enough that it makes mores sense to switch to a new Edson. I tried to manufacture a new shoe and mechanism from scratch, but got tired of the drama and gave up on it. I now use my autopilot for a brake.
