What should I expect to pay to have a new beam fabricated and any leads in SoCal on shops who can do this kind of work? I looked at the tab under the settee and it has some disoloration - not like Mariposa but still.. has to be done at some point! Thanks in advance!

Cant help you with the first item. But with the second, from what I have read on line, sorry cant find the URL, its a lot easier to tackle this job from the head side as you can slice the pan down the center once the vanity is removed. Just a thought. Will see if I can dig up the URL.... Sorry cant find it anymore. The guy sold his 29 to buy an Ingred and then sold her to buy who knows what. Thats where I found the pics....:) On a different note....here's a Canadian on a CAL2-29 crossing the pacific again as Darcy did many years ago. Interesting what these boats can do. http://www.tyc.ca/offshore.htm Enjoy. /ch On Wed, Feb 8, 2012 at 9:08 PM, <to… [at] yahoo.com> wrote: > What should I expect to pay to have a new beam fabricated and any leads in SoCal on shops who can do this kind of work? Someone with an artistic bent made some CAL 30 beams as I recall (maybe some 29s?). I did some digging in my copious archives (E-Mail pack rat that I am). Came up with Alan Storey as a possibility?
