Lots of people use it, not just racers. I personally have not but SparTalk is a good place to check out for think kind of stuff. I think Brion Toss likes it over wire for any boat. I have done a lot of testing with this kind of line and the stuff is very strong. It takes all my strength to break a 7/64 line with a 35 power winch.
