Speaking of O rings. I just had Out Patient hauled out. I have this plug in the side of my keel. The guy tells me it is were they use to mount a speed indicator. I should replace those o rings before they rot out. I will follow his recommendation. Anyone see that on theirs before. Don't you just hate it when you have a munged/stretched/crushed O-ring on a part that is no longer manufactured and no spares around? Just came across another web site. Apple Rubber. They say they have 3x10^8 O-rings in stock. Have not used them. Just passing it on. Cheers Charlie TODAY(Beta) • Powered by Yahoo! Randy, That is indeed the spot where my speedo was when I bought the boat. I changed instruments but left the transducer there. It seemed to work fine, but I am replacing it with a Nexus system that needs to be installed near the boat centerline, so I will be closing up the keel opening before launch this year I like closing up holes in the bottom that aren't being used for anything.
