Hi Chris, welcome to the group. Let us know where you are located. I use to race on a Cal 35 MKII out of Newport Beach Ca. The boat was Coeur DeOeur.[Sp] I sailed a couple of Ensenada Races on it as well. They are a beautiful Boat. I really enjoyed sailing it, we won our class in Ensenada the last year we raced. I've seen a couple and we've dialed it in and hope to make an offer this week. I know there are a couple of you on here with Cal 35's and I was wondering if there was a resource for parts? I know silly question since they are not made any more but for such things as the salon windows? Has anyone replaced the interior aluminum frames? I just thought I'd ask. We love the boat and it fits us for exactly what we want to do. I would love to correspond with anyone if you care too. Thanks! Chris TODAY(Beta) • Powered by Yahoo! Thanks for the replies... Joe, it is the Universal... not sure if it's the 424 or 432. I'll get that info sometime today from the owner. I'm located in Nashville, TN. right now but the boat is in the Gulf. We are moving up to the Chesapeake in June. We absolutely loved the way she sailed. Love the layout, the reputation, etc... Been looking for one for quite a while. I understand there are many sources for parts but sometimes on particular boats, someone will have had the good sense (or bad) to stock certain things when a company goes under. I know for instance, Tartan still carried a lot of the trim pieces for my old Tartan 27. A guy out in Washington state stocked all of the replacement parts for my old San Juan 24 as well. Just wondering if there was such a resource for these Cal boats since they are still so many around. Albeit, completely different boats. Thanks for the input folks. This seems like a super group that is incredibly active. We're looking forward to it. c
