I bet he does. I posted this question on Sailinganarchy and the only
replies I got said you need a computer to do what I want as no single
product does it. I guess I could just have two gps units on board, one for
starting and one for tacking. Somebody needs to build one unit that does
both.
Part of the problem, I think, is that most racers seemed very concerned
with wind shifts. These units have wind shift indicators, something a
normal GPS doesn't have. I am just not concerned with wind shifts here in
SF Bay. The wind shifts but it just doesn't oscillate.
