Head sail repair and possible upgrade

Hi all,, I have my head sail (160 Genoa) in the shop for repair and have determined it was in good condition to keep. It will cost me $25 to have it fixed, which is fairly reasonable. As with all projects, I thought about having a clear vinyl window installed to give me better forward visibility. Has anyone in the group installed one, or have a factory installed window? I will be getting an estimate shortly for the cost of getting it done, and was promised it will be under 1k. Does anyone have the measurements on where to locate it?
