Anyone have experience with Nor-Lam, Hydra-Net, or Fusion-MX compared to HA Dacron for a 90% blade jib?

Anyone have experience with Dimension-Polyant Hydra Net Radial sail cloth? It's what I'm looking at for my new main. http://www.dimension-polyant.com/en/Hydranet_2_2_1.php

I think I heard there were issues with these mixed thread cloths like differential stretch or something. Not sure so you might want to check it out like you are doing. Talk to someone who has had one if you can or have your sailmaker put you in touch with a customer who has had one for a couple of years. Allen, Most of the new age racing and racing/cruising rope for sailing are made from blended fibers, to combine the best features of each fiber compound, and more such lines are coming on the market each year, with the older blends probably replacing good old, long lasting but soggy and heavy when wet Dacron. So it makes sense sail makers will capitalize on these attributes. Hmm..maybe I can spray some water repellant on my old sheets? Most of the racing sails I see are laminated with mylar panels and a variety of yarns for strength. My blade jib is like that. I was talking about woven sails with different yarns. But it seems that there are several examples of people who have had good luck with this particular fabric so I was probably thinking of another combination. In fact, I think the one I was thinking of had spectra and dacron. Yeah, Allen, and the laminates keep getting better and better and better. I had a 155 1984 Norlam Genoa which was great except every time I used it, and it was hit by sea spray, it would delaminate, and I had to spread it out in the parking lot, pull away the pieces of Mylar, and spray contact cement glue between them and the dacron scrim, and tape the pieces back in place, till it got so covered up in tape and patches that it got embarrassing to fly it. My next laminate, from circa 2000 gave me nearly three seasons before it needed major repair taping, and I'm on my third year on my latest sail, a North tri-radial, with no signs of major wear or delamination problems. These were all used sails to begin with, of course. The former was from another ancient Cal 24, the last two consecutive Santana 20 racer program hand me downs I picked up at bargain basement prices. My Santana 20 friend would like me to buy another used up one, but the one I have is still looking good, to me, anyway. Just wish these sails were more than 134's. The wind's been light this Spring...so far.
