Cal 34 Sails on Craigslist (LA)
ericpaulsen12012-05-26 22:35
I found this ad below on craigslist, Los Angeles, MDR area. I thought I would share it with the folks here.
I have a number of sails (mains and genoas) that I do not plan to use. Just taking up space. Make an offer for one or more. The sails are for the origional Cal 34 rig. Came off a 1967 boat that I purchased. They are hank on sails. I bought all new sails so these are extras. They come in sail bags. They are not damaged and I have no idea how old they are. I have flown some of them and they worked fine, but not up to racing standards.

Eric,
I'm wondering if these are Yassoo's old sails. If they are, they are special sails that will make any Cal 34 go fast. Ok, maybe not as fast as brand new ones from a famous loft, but fast just the same.
Jerry.

Jerry, I am actually in the process of getting new sails, from Elliott+Pattison, not to mention I have the newer rig, otherwise I would have investigated further.

I am looking for a used Cal-34 spinnaker for my L-36 but I didn't see that
on was included in the list. Oh well.
