27 poptop

Do any of you Cal 27 poptop owners still have the original connection of the poptop to the mast track? Near as I can tell from an old manual is that they had some sort of connection that slid up the track. Needless to say, my boat has been modified or it broke off at some point. Was wondering how it worked and if it would be worth making something to replace it. Any help would be appreciated. Paul
