Rigging Tensions for 1975 Cal 2-27 & Hatch Covers

Does anyone know if there are any suggested tensions for the standing riggings? The owners manual for a Cal 27 speaks of inches of play in the rigging but does not have any tension specifications. Also, the forward hatch cover of my Cal was blown off during transport. does anyone know of anybody who manufactures hatch covers for a Cal?
