Cal 27 PopTop - New Owner
Matthew Holland2012-08-20 01:51 UTC
Greetings Cal Boat owners!
Looking forward to participating in your discussions and learning about the boat I've purchased.
It's moored in San Diego Bay, is (I think) a 1972 or 1973. I was fortunate enough to acquire "Spica" from a very friendly previous owner who unfortunately left San Diego soon after I began calling her "mine." I'd hoped to learn more about the boat and enjoy sailing her with one who knows her inside and out, but that was not possible since that person has left San Diego.
I appreciate any contact with any of you who do own (have owned) or know of one who owns this model. In particular, I would like to obtain a manual.
All the best,
Matthew

Welcome to the group, Matt!
There is a lot of knowledge here so don't be afraid to ask questions. You picked up a sweet ride!
Beth and I used to own b natural, a Cal 27 poptop on lake Mead. She was fast and forgiving. (The boat. not Beth... )
