mooring bridle-- 3/4" x 20 feet

Hello Group, I'm hoping someone might have a 3/4" x 15 or 20' mooring bridle not needed and/or taking up space. I'd be happy to pay a bit + shipping. Would anyone have one just sitting around in okay condition waiting to hold my 30' sloop? In advance, thanks. Ira C.Reba

I have a mooring ball, unused, with about 200 pounds of buoyancy, does that help? Also have swizzle stick [ mooring pickup buoy with fiberglass stick ] unused. *Joe DeMers - owner* Sound Marine Diesel LLC SoundMarineDiesel.com <http://www.soundmarinediesel.com/> *phone & fax (860) 666-2184* On 8/18/2012 12:34 PM, Ira Reba wrote: > > > Hello Group, > I'm hoping someone might have a 3/4" x 15 or 20' mooring bridle not > needed and/or taking up space. Paint Options?

My T/2 has peeling paint in the cabin and it's on my list to fix this Friday. I'm going to scrape/wire-brush then sand the old stuff. My question is what should I repaint with? Would like to reproduce the textured/swirly pattern that was stock if possible. Any suggestions around product or technique would be appreciated. Rob

Rob, I just finished a similar job on my 29, in the main cabin. It was easier to remove the old paint with a heat gun. If you don't remove all the old paint it will probably look nasty. I used Pettit EZ CabinCoat, stark white, took 3 coats, no swirls just clean, white finish. The disclaimer is that I had the ports out, made the job easier. Next project is the quarterberths, this winter. Year 3 will be the forward head compartment and V berth. \David Dobbs CAL 29 411 From: Robert Libbert <rl… [at] yahoo.com> To: "Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com" <Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com> Sent: Monday, August 20, 2012 10:47 AM Subject: [Cal_Boats] Paint Options? we used stripper sanding rustoleum marine LPU primer paint semigloss for V berth we used rustoleum appliance White EPOXY in anchor locker , cupboard which also come in RATTLE can which makes it easy for tight areas ...we like smooth surface so that water condansation will run off and wipe off easy...but if you want texure you can use a fuffly roller with a slurrey epoxy paint micro filler try this 1st on a old ice crest or sample piece but a smooth surface we not be prone to MOLD...also if you have a aircompresser and a hopper gun you can spary texture but you MUST prime 1st texture then prime agin then paint good luck a clean boat is a happy boat edward Cal 36 "Caliente" #60 From: david dobbs <tm… [at] yahoo.com> To: "Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com" <Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com> Sent: Mon, August 20, 2012 3:18:07 PM Subject: Re: [Cal_Boats] Paint Options?(Rob) Rob, I just finished a similar job on my 29, in the main cabin. Also be sure to ventilate and wear VOC respirator as the fumes WILL make you stupid, or worse! I was overcome by fumes using awlgrip inside a boat even though I had all hatches open and a box fan blowing. It's been nearly 4 years since and I am still "off" (slow thinking, hard to focus, stuttering speech at times and always feel like I'm in a fog. My girl still notices the difference. Its like a chemical lobotomy. And it sucks!). Please be careful with paint. -- Helen Horn <he… [at] sbcglobal.net> wrote: we used stripper sanding rustoleum marine LPU primer paint semigloss for V berth we used rustoleum appliance White EPOXY in anchor locker , cupboard which also come in RATTLE can which makes it easy for tight areas ...we like smooth surface so that water condansation will run off and wipe off easy...but if you want texure you can use a fuffly roller with a slurrey epoxy paint micro filler try this 1st on a old ice crest or sample piece but a smooth surface we not be prone to MOLD...also if you have a aircompresser and a hopper gun you can spary texture but you MUST prime 1st texture then prime agin then paint good luck a clean boat is a happy boat edward Cal 36 "Caliente" #60 From: david dobbs <tm… [at] yahoo.com> To: "Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com" <Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com> Sent: Mon, August 20, 2012 3:18:07 PM Subject: Re: [Cal_Boats] Paint Options?(Rob) Rob, I just finished a similar job on my 29, in the main cabin.
