Removing 2-29 back rest cushions

Any advice on how the back rest cushions can be removed. I can feel screws along the underside of the port back rest, but the ones on the bulkhead and beneath the stair have me stumped? Thanks!

There are plugs and screws on the other side of the bulkhead (in the head area) and on the stair there are plugs on the other side. Good luck.
