I don't know if I have posted this before but if anyone needs detailed photographically documented advice on a number of boat projects, this guy is amazing.

Thanks for all the advice a couple weeks ago. It took awhile, but after a lot of sanding, scraping and sweating in a respirator, I repainted with mold resistant marine interior paint. Turned out pretty well. Ignore the carpet - that's the next project.

LOL I hear ya. I pulled all my handrails off my boat in the spring of 2011 and had them varnished that week and they are now under the bed in our guest bedroom 2 summers later.
Does that answer your question?
By the way it helps if your business is boat repair and you live in a sleepy town in Maine where your sailing season is short as this guy does.
