Blushing?
Husar, Charlie [USA] (ASE)2012-10-17 21:12 UTC
I am told that Mas epoxy is non-blushing. Any confirmation or denial on this rumor? I do like to use the stuff. The proportions are easier (and seem to be more forgiving), and I do not like the pumps others have.
By the by, suggest not to use the 404 high density filler from West. Very hard to sand (especially when the areas around the patch are softer . It is the epoxy equivalent of 3M 5200 in terms of difficulty (PITA analogy of course). Some filler with threads in it is better.
Cheers
Charlie

That is my understanding from talks with Chris B who rebuild his CAL
20 exclusively with Mas, Still floating and looks darn toot'n good.
Nice boat, nice colors scheme.
