Good Old Boat seeks Cal 39 owners (or crew)

I suspect that I may not be the first one to post this, but I just received this email from the good folks at Good Old Boat Magazine: Do you own a Cal 39? Have you had one in the past? Do you know someone who owns or has owned one? If yes, we'd like to hear from you. Please send your comments to the guy who manages our boat reviews, Dan Spurr: da… [at] aol.com <mailto:%2… [at] aol.com> Tell Dan about the sailing characteristics (good and bad), the level of quality in the build, quirky things to watch out for, the good things that are true selling points for this boat, and anything else that springs to mind. ....just the thing I needed to distract me from a late night deadline at work! Greg, took my off and had them upholstered a few years back. if they are the ones against the head, then I believe they were screwed on from the back-side behind the sliding door. The ones against the port side were screwed through a ledger attached to the cushion backing....I believe from below underneath the horizontal shelf that's tabbed into the hull. It wasn't that difficult once you figured out some reverse engineering. I hope my memory serves me well.
