Cal 35-2 overview

Hi everyone, My wife and I are about to have a 1983 Cal 35-2 surveyed for purchase. We're very excited to own our first boat large enough to cruise in and would like to know what to look for on the boat. We are fine with doing work ourselves and know a 30 year old yacht won't be perfect. Any suggestions to look out for, reviews online, websites with info, etc? Thanks!!
