I haven't read all the messages in this thread, but you should be able to find the photo here (using Windows 7): Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization\Desktop Background It should list the folder where the photo is stored. But my computer remains reluctant to reveal the photo's point of storage--it will show it under "Appearance and Themes" then "Display" but refuses to do anything else. Sailing is easier to understand and perform. Chris
