Re: Trying to figure out which Cal's have pilot berths

The Cal 30-3 model has two pilot berths plus a quarter berth. The pilot berths are up high on each side of the main cabin behind and above the bench seats. The boat is a fantastic sailing boat but in appearance dated. It is also hard to find one that in good condition. The Cal 30-3 was one of Lapworth's favorite designs. I almost bought one and looked at several. If you can't find pictures to look at I have lots of pictures of the three I looked at and can post. It sails very very well but is dated in appearance.
