Looking to fit one around the old Yacht Specialtys pedestal . Can anyone recommend a make/model? Thanks in advance!

Navpod makes one, but no top plate to match. They are in Oregon--you can find them online. I had to make my own top-plate out of 1/2" Starboard. It looks great and functions perfectly. I am going to sell my used Guard, along with a pre-mounted NavPod that holds 3 ST60 instruments. I added a fourth ST60 and had to buy a larger pod and a new guard since the wire holes didn't match the larger pod.

If you are going to buy an entirely new pedestal guard, I would advise getting one with extra height to allow for adding instruments and a chart plotter. My Cal 31 came with a pedestal guard which only had room for instruments and I had to add more height to protect and mount the chartplotter I added. I am going to post some pictures as soon as I get permission to post pictures.

FYI - I just posted a few pictures of my pedestal guard extension that made room for my chart plotter. Also some pictures of some rail seats and helman's seat combination I just completed on my Cal 31. Look for the album "Cal 31 Evania."
