You say "up until recently" - does that mean you have found yet better stuff?
By the way, I just ordered 8oz of the stuff - your recommendation made sense and I have tried all sorts of methods, to little avail.
It sounds like one could re-apply after a moth or so, while diving on the prop, which is what sold me.

Hi,
Good Morning.
I have been following the anhydrous lanoline, lanocote, Boeshield application on the propeller with great interest...does it mean that any of these can/might be applied on the propeller under water???? And, which might be the very best to use????
Thanks,
Bill/Cal-39

I have only used anhydrous lanolin. Never tried applying it while the boat was in the water. Kinda curious about that myself.
For the past two seasons I have used a Pettit product called Zinc Coat Barnacle Barrier. Seems to work well. Maybe

Well I went to the pool supply store today and bought silicone grease so we'll see how that works. Splashing tomorrow.

I just received a 7 fluid ounce tub of lanolin from Puritan's Pride (www.puritan.com) for $6 including shipping. Looks like it should be a lifetime supply.

I bought a small supply from the pharmacy a few years ago--very sticky
stuff. A little does go a long way. Report on your experience with it.
