I push the boom out to the spreaders then measure from traveler block to boom block. Take that times 4 or 6 X that length then add 3 feet.
Since you don' t have a mainsheet to measure just find anything that will go thru the blocks one time and tie it off with the boom out.
Another thing is to buy one size or so smaller than what you have. Lines swell over time and if you buy what your replacing the line will not run thru the blocks.
