post your question on one of the cruising forums they get frequented by experienced sailors who are willing to volunteer in helping with a delivery and teach if you are inclined to come along for the ride. I visit Cruising Outpost (http://cruisingoutpost.com/forum/ formerly Latts & Atts and through there I have delivered several boats at no charge, other than that I am allowed to pick my own window and that all my expenses are paid for - boat is provisioned, fueled and in good order. Sailing Anarchy is another good site were you will find folks ready for an adventure and free boat ride. If you were on the East Coast here I woul be able to drum up one or two of my sailing buddies and bring her home for you in short order. Best of luck.
