Totally cool product! So his four-panel product will charge anything like it's
plugged into a wall ?

Some of you may know that I'm a freelance writer who covers technology (among
other topics). At CES 2014 in Las Vegas earlier this month, I came across a
company with products based on new thin-film photovoltaic technology that is
thinner, lighter, and far more durable than the fragile traditional silicon
solar cells. Here's a video interview that I did for aNewDomain.net which is one
of the publications that I write for these days. I can't wait until they can
make panels large enough to replace the heavy helo-landing-pads that most
cruisers have to mount on their sterns these days. (This stuff might make a
great replacement for the Sunbrella on our bimini, now that I think about it!)

Just found out Unisolar went bankrupt, but thin flexible panels have been out for many years.

The Unisolar flexible panel problem is a lower watt output than hard panels per unit area. Guessing at the size of the panel and using the stated output, this new company has the same or less output per square foot. I don't see what is revolutionary. There are supposed to be new thin film tech coming out that is better, but last I knew it hadn't made it to production.
The statement in the video that their 6.5 Watt panel will handle anything that you can plug into the wall is ridiculous. 120 volts times 15 amps, a standard wall plug in the US is 1800 watts.
