Love that one! A few years ago, a buddy and I were sitting in the backyard of a friend who rented me her dock in Madeira, FL. We were enjoying a few Corona's when a PWC came out of the small bayou nearby. The rider started doing 360's at top speed, presumably to get some wave action started. Soon a homeowner on the other side of the waterway came out. He motioned and shouted, trying to get the rider to stop pounding water against his sea wall. The rider ignored him, and after a few minutes sped back into the bayou. The homeowner watched him disappear, and when it was quiet again I said, "Shotgun?" He looked over at us, then quickly turned and went inside. Soon the PWC returned with a different rider, and the homeowner came out with what looked like a double-barrel 12 gauge. He walked up to his seawall and pointed the gun at the rider, who, when he noticed, stopped his wave-making effort and attempted to ride out while leaning over the starboard side of the PWC like some horse rider in an old western movie. Much to my dismay he managed to not fall off as he sped back to that bayou. The homeowner looked over at us, then calmly turned and walked indoors where he stood the shotgun at the ready next to his sliding glass door. Not a shot was fired, and we never saw a PWC in that area again. Good times indeed, Brad Bates Play Mate
