If you want to get your luff length for the main; tie or tape a 50' tape measure to your halyard with something to keep the tape measure from entering the sheave at the top and hoist away! If you want the mast height (antenna or ?) from the water, add a guess length for height from the sheave to the antenna top and then also from the cabin top to the water. Ditto to get the luff length for your jib. Greg Cal 31 Evania
