Not a CAL 25, but is a CAL T/4, a 24' "Quarter-Ton class boat". If you remember "Catman" (not sure if he used to post on this list, or the old SailNet one?) he owned a T/4. In many ways the T/4 was a smaller version of the CAL 27 (aka Cal 27 pop-top) except with an outboard rudder, a reverse-transom, and no pop-top. The interior though, was definitely a smaller copy of the 27. The T/4 had a swept-back fin-keel (like the 27), I think the keel was bolted-on, not molded as part of the hull? The T/4 was introduced to meet the class rules of the Quarter-Ton class, just as the larger T/2 (the pop-top 27 with a different deck, had a dog-house cabin in place of the pop-top) was introduced to meet the rules of the 1/2 Ton class. I think they were in production from about 1972-74.
