Replace forward hatch Cal 2-27

er… [at] gmail.com2014-11-02 21:28 UTC
Hi everyone, I started doing the winter maintenance, and wow, it began with bang. Has anyone replaced their forward hatch on a cal 2-27, 1977? I still have the hatch, but its pretty beat up and I am not sure if I can get the hinges off - a p/o seems to have used 5200 or some other 'permanent' adhesive to put them in there. Thanks! I had mine fly off during transport. I had to have a new one built using some starboard and standard hatch. I can send pictures if you wish. Erik, I had a new one fabricated by a plastics shop. Just gave them the old one. Used the same hinges, it fits fine. 5200 is easily defeated with a number of actions or chemicals. Anti bond eats it away fairly quick A Fein multi master can also remove as fast as you can move the tool > On Nov 2, 2014, at 1:28 PM, er… [at] gmail.com [Cal_Boats] <Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com> wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > > > I started doing the winter maintenance, and wow, it began with bang.
