Exhaust white smoke

I have an 88 hunt designed cal 28 with a rebuilt westerbeke 13a diesel.
The engine has run fine since the rebuild about 80 hours ago
The engine shows no signs

If the engine exhaust is actually emitting steam, this may be due to
insufficient exhaust water being discharged through the system. Check
the raw water strainer for obstructions. Also, the exhaust elbow may be
clogged, restricting raw water flow.
