Hi Reggie Thank you for your response and insight. I failed to mention it is a CAL 27' T2 a 1972 and only has a outboard, I have seven sails and the interior is in fair condition. I have little to no time for her. When I was single ... I spent plenty of time on her. I live in Southern California were I kept her moored and sailed all year round. But now I just don't have the time since I got married. Humm!!! I will try to list it for a couple of grand and see what happens. Thanks again. Hello - I have a 1971 27 poptop that we're close to completing a refit. We're in need of a head sail for a roller furling. A 150 would be nice. You mentioned you have 7 sails for your 27 T-2. Would you happen to have a sail that we're looking for and would be willing to sell? Thanks for your consideration.

I have one headsail [also one mains'l and a racing spinnaker] from a Cal 2-27, roller furling type. Dims are as follows - Luff = 36.5' Leech = 38.5' foot = 18', 3" It has one 8" long tear along the leech, easily fixed. Has one telltale window. Lots of sailing life remains in this sail. $550 plus shipping. *Joe DeMers - owner* Sound Marine Diesel LLC SoundMarineDiesel.com <http://www.soundmarinediesel.com/>*phone & fax (860) 666-2184* On 1/15/2015 9:54 AM, jo… [at] hotmail.com [Cal_Boats] wrote: > Hello - I have a 1971 27 poptop that we're close to completing a refit. does your wife sail? if not, have her/ get for her and introductory sailing course, just for women. Sounds sexist, but the introduction should instill in her the possibilities. We tend to only see our limitations compared to our spouse's expertise. And, if there is anything she would like, which can be done within reason, which would help her enjoy the boat more, do it. Doesn't like the interior color or chipping coating? paint it (probably needs it anyway. Curtains? cushions? proper wine glasses and plates and silverware for a night at anchor? get 'em. You will not be able to wear that bout out, and you'll rue the day you dump her (the boat). At which Marina is she berthed in So. Cal., and what is her name.
