Spreader tip boots

So I'm just about decided to use leather boots on the spreader tips and then I read about using the Harken Sail Chafe Protectors. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm making new spreaders so it might be easier to install these while the mast is down and also cheaper. Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone

David, We use the Harken Sail Chafe Protectors on Magic. They work well and have help up pretty good for the past three years.
