Charlie: Sorry I can't be of any help, I no longer keep my boat in New Orleans. I know Al Gooch and Stan Chiocchio are both retired and pretty much MIA from sailing these days. Berkley Merrill hasn't been associated with the Cal fleet or sailing for some time. If I do hear of anyone interested in the coaching position, I will let you know. I would imagine they have already contacted SYC to see if anyone there knows a potential candidate. Hi, All. I have a sailing friend (well, a competitor, but also a friend) in the Annapolis CAL 25s whose daughter is enrolled at Tulane in New Orleans. She went out for the sailing team, and my friend found out that the team is looking for a new coach. I was wondering if any of our list members have some contacts down there. From my trips to the CAL 25 Nationals in NO in the 80s and 90s, I do remember some names, but don't have current contacts.
