San Juan Island Cal meet-up?

I was wondering if anyone is out and about in the "off season" besides me (also known as the windy season). If so, perhaps a meet-up or a get together of some kind. Probably better for the Spring or Summer and to put it in 48 N. Has there been any of these in the past? I don't remember seeing any... Tom Cal 39

There was a Cal meet in the Gulf Islands seven or eight years ago, don't recall seeing anything since. Spring/summer and advert in 48 N seems like a good way to go. Would love to see such a thing happen and, if timing permits, be part of it. Seems to me that the usual is to find a marina that can reserve some dock space. I hosted a "Winds of Caltember" rendezvous at Arabella’s probably 8 years ago, and Richard Anderson hosted an event in Edmonds the next year. Arabella’s was a great location and fairly central. I would certainly attend one anywhere in Pugetopolis. A spring/summer time is likely the best. Are their any Cal people in the area who would like to get together during the Boat Show? Nemesis sails year ‘round. I have 64 days away from the dock so far this year, and will be racing Winter Vashon. I invite all Cal sailors to join me, and will stand a round of drinks for them in the TYC bar after the race.
