It won't be long now. Today I dragged out the big box where we have ben
accumulating "stuff" to take to our Cal Cruising 36 SV "Submit" in
preparation for the next installment of the trials and tribulations of
Barbara and Reggie.
Let this serve as a reminder that we do occasional write-ups of our
misadventures and post them on a blog for those who are so bored they have
nothing better to do than shake their heads and laugh at us. I do not post
those on the Cal list email site. I send out a short email to those who
want to know, giving them the link to our blog
http://sv-submit.blogspot.com/
You/they can go look if you wish.

This is the reminder that if you do not wish to receive the posting
announcements, let me know and I will remove you from the email list. If
you wish to be added, let me know.
This year, some Canadian friends are going to be towing their sailboat 3500
miles to where ours is. They have decided to try cruising and will buddy
boating with us for security and peace of mind. They foolishly think we
know something!
We'll ride with them to El Paso where we will bail out for a few days to
squeeze a new grandson. They will head east across the southern tier on
interstate 10 and we will fly to catch up with them. A few little (?)
projects and some TLC and we'll launch and be off. Anyone along our route
who wants to be contacted (bothered) let us know.
The general tentative plan is to head south from Port Charlotte to the keys,
then up through the keys to cross over either to Bimini or Abacos. We hope
to get farther south this year. we would like to go to Long Island and
Crooked Island to see if we can be of any help with the rebuild after this
year's hurricane.
