Just a Moderator Note

Hi, All. Some messages to you get might be from a computerized group moderator. I am the human one (some might dispute this). Just a couple admin notes below. Many thanks for all the friendly and helpful messages you are sending. Makes my "job" easy. If any new folks have questions, don't be shy. It would be a good idea to include your name (at least first), your location, and boat type in your messages. Makes it easier for people to respond and keep track of the messages. Some questions are based on local sailing conditions and local availability of parts and services. When replying to a message, check to see if you can delete old content no longer germane to your note. Some of the message strings get real long. Also, if the topic of a mail string has changed (e.g., the subject line was "The CAL 25 is the Greatest Boat Ever" but the discussion in the string moved on to man-eating termites), try to reflect the change with a "was" "is" statement in the title.
