Cal 34, 1967 for sale
Dima V.2016-01-21 03:17 UTC
Hello,
I'm selling my Cal 34, 1967. Maybe someone would be interested.
The boat is in good sailing condition. No soft spots on the deck, no
blisters on the hull. Standing rigging and fittings, mast (Z-Spar with
internal halyards) and boom were replaced during the winter of 2009-2010.
With that replacement, complete rewiring was done (heavy gauge marine
wire), LED anchor light and new steaming/deck light were installed. At the
same time Z-Spar jib furler was installed.
In early 2006, the engine was replaced with Moyer Marine rebuild Atomic 4
gas engine with many enhancements such as fresh water cooling, electronic
ignition, electric fuel pump. Most parts are replaced as part of the
rebuilding process. The engine has low hours (250hrs).
The original pedestal was replaced in 2014 with one from an '87 Shannon.
This one can accommodate Edson's pedestal mounted engine controls (there
was a plan to move the controls to the pedestal).
All interior lights and anchor light are LED. I have LED bulbs for the
navigation lights just need to replace them.
50watt solar panel with charge controller were installed in 2015. Also was
added automatic charge relay and battery switch was replaced with matching
dual circuit switch.
Also were replaced or added in 2015: second reefing line, boom topping
lift, boom vang, cam cleat for the boom vang line, fuel filter, battery,
tachometer.
Two headsails. One mainsail with two reefing points. All sails are in
working conditions.
Garmin GPSmap498 with sonar.
Constellation Danforth compass.
All cushions were recently replaced with new Sunbrella ones.
New dorades.
Pressurized fresh water.
Holding tank.
The boat is in Glen Cove, NY. The boat is on the ground but I can show it
to you if you don't mind climbing a ladder. This is the boat at current
location:

Video what boat looked like in spring (though no drastic changes since
then): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0AIQfdtRgE
I'm not sure how informative it is but here is video showing spreader and
top of the mast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukFV2EkEYjI Those boots on
the spreaders didn't stay. I still have them but have not installed back.
Couple of videos sailing the boat:
