South East Florida Roster

I wonder how many CAL owners we have in South East Florida. If I remember correctly there are quite a few in the Fla West Coast but have nto heard too many on the South East Coast. Since I am celebrating the weakening of TS Ernersto, I wonder about getting enough people to Elliot Key for a SE Fla reunion. I am thinking late October when the weather is a bit cooler. Hello Cal list, We survived the storm. At it's worst we ended up with 45-50 MPH winds across the docks. 1200 feet of 3/4 inch line goes a long way. Hope everyone else does well with the storm as it goes up the coast. Rich and Carol ex 34 owners

Hello Cal Listees, Ernesto turned out to be a non-event for us. I'm guessing that we never had anything more than 25 kt winds and less than an inch of rain. Nevertheless, I had Magic securely tied with eight lines out in the canal for whatever was coming. We no longer own a Cal, but we are in Islamorada. We can't come to Biscane Bay, we draw a solid 7 in our new to us steel schooner. But a drive up for some rum drinks would work. Rich and Carol ex 34 owners

Hi Mike I am selling my Cal39, I appreciate if you can think of anybody who wanted to buy it. I moved on to a Catamaran and I am selling the boat for $25,000 here in Miami. Is in craiglist South Florida The engine is now fixed, $2,000 in rebuilt injectors as well as adjusting valves, etc. I have a new posting in craiglist showing the latest repairs I did to the boat. https://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/boa/5491213734.html I took pictures of the rebuilt engine, is now perfect!!!
