Wooden Spreaders; Tips Wanted (double Spreader mast)

Hi Guys Caliente is in the process of replacing original Wood spreaders all 4 ...we are doing this in the slip ... So far 1) made one set of temporary lower spreaders (nearly 3 inches too short) from another cal36, which indicates lack of uniformity. 2) made 2nd set correct size 3) using originals for templates to make final set. We have Fabricated 1. Aluminum Tip on lower port spreader (last race season) and might make all Aluminum.replacements, but.. slip mate has E-35 with double spreader Mast...that has Stainless Steel spreader tips; on double Spreaders the lowers have two grooves and single groove on top spreaders...Also they have a Horseshoe piece that locks in the top upper shroud...of stainless steel. Sooo.... If any one has upgraded to ALUMINUM spreaders and stlll have Double Tips (or single) Laying Around please contact me ... thanks or a referral to someone who has them or can fabricate them...Thanks Cal boaters ..Edward CALIENTE 1966 Jensen 36 #60 e.… [at] gmail.com
