Cal 20 project or parts boat available in Maine
ac… [at] yahoo.com2016-04-05 17:18 UTC
I've got a Cal 20 that wants more work than I feel like doing. Hull is solid but two interior bulkheads have started to delaminate at the bottom. Spars are sound, standing rigging has been recently replaced. Running rigging is serviceable but could stand to be updated. Comes with trailer and 5 use able sails. The deck gelcoat has extensive spider cracks, topsides need paint. I put in a temporary compression post and sailed it all last summer. All the hardware has been removed to prepare for paint preparation but I ran out of energy. I have a boat recycler who will take it off my hands to get the hardware and trailer but I would prefer to see it go to someone who would like a crack at restoration. Anyone who is interested can forward an offer to aces4me at gmail dot com.

Where in Maine? Is the trailer roadworthy? Joe

I replied by email but I will reply here for everyone's benefit. The boat is in Richmond Maine and I moved the boat 3 hours from NH to Maine last summer on that trailer without issue so I would consider it road worthy.
