Preparing my Cal-2 30 for a cruise to Cali from Hawaii

Aloha Cal owners! I have been restoring my Cal-2 30 for the last two years. I live in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. The sailing here is different than on the mainland, the middle of the Pacific, big swell an high winds face me any direction I try to go. That said, I've re-rigged, standing and running, new main sail coming, and am daily working on the boat to have her ready for a sail to Maui and the other islands this June, an possible west coast journey later this year or next. Some of the items I'm still looking for, canvas products to go with my Bimini, like side windows, I have a front inclosure already. SSB radio, solar power, wind vane steering, auto pilot. Fuel and water storage. As you can guess funds have gotten low with a lot of expensive items still needed. I'd love to hear your experiences with adding these items an how to find things used or more reasonable, and ways you've conquered your needs.
